My Personal Philosophy
Each part of my work is guided by three lifelong roles I have strived to embody: Scholar, Steward, And Servant. Together, they form the foundation for how I accomplish my work. I don’t see these as roles, I see them as responsibilities.
Scholar
The Relentless Pursuit of Curiosity
As a life long learner I want to let my curiosity be my compass. I believe liberation begins with the courage to ask better questions, and the humilty to fall in love with the process.

“Maybe thats enlightenment enough: to know that there is no final rest place of the mind. Perhaps Wisdom is realizing how small I am, and unwise, and how far I have yet to go.”
-Anthony Bourdain
Steward
The Evolution of Authentic Relationships
Real relationships take time to build, nourished by truth and trust. I hold space for others to be seen, because it’s the unseen that shapes everything.

“You Think Your Pain & Heartbreak Are Unprecedented In The History Of The World- And Then You Read.”
-James Baldwin
Servant
The Designing of Systems with Communities
My service is rooted in an abolitionist’s imagination: to replace broken systems with ones worthy of the people they serve. I seek not to know all the answers, but to co-create them together.

“If I fail to recognize oppressed communities as other faces of myself, then I am contributing not only to each of their oppressions but also to my own; and the anger which stands between us then must be used for clarity and mutual empowerment.”
-Miss Audre Lorde
